A reading desk, not a clinic

Who writes this site, the rule every page follows, and the things it will never do.

Wavelength Scalp covers one corner of the hair-loss market: the therapies that are not drugs and not surgery — laser and red-light devices, platelet-rich plasma, microneedling, and the exosome and stem-cell offers at the market's unregulated edge. It is a publishing project, built by writers working from published sources. No doctor, dermatologist or other clinician reviews these pages, and we do not claim otherwise anywhere — there is no medical reviewer to name, so none is named.

The one rule

Every efficacy statement is an attributed, dated quote or figure from a named source: a peer-reviewed trial, FDA's 510(k) database, a regulator's published letter, or a vendor's store page read on a stated day. What we could not verify at its source, we leave out — a hedge like “studies suggest” with no study behind it is a fabrication wearing a seatbelt. Prices carry the date they were read. Vendor marketing is quoted as the vendor's claim, never repeated in our voice.

What this site never does

  • Never diagnoses, prescribes, or gives dosing or treatment instructions — a clinician does that, with your history in front of them.
  • Never shows before/after imagery, testimonials, invented user counts or success rates.
  • Never links, ranks or recommends a clinic for PRP, exosomes, stem cells or anything else.

Corrections

If a price has moved, a study is misread, or a claim outruns its source, we want the correction more than we want to be right — the contact page says how to send it, and sourced corrections get fixed on the page with the date of the fix.
